We love our gardens!  If you are a native of the Ozarks, you learned to grow things in this stuff we loosely call “soil” a long time ago as a child growing up. If you’re new to the Ozarks and you’re into gardening, you’re probably asking yourself “how the *&%##  do they grow anything in all these rocks?”  Raised beds are the answer!  And, we make our own soil – “store-bought” topsoil plus a liberal dose of compost (including your personal manure of choice, if you want to give your plants a real boost)…. Yes, there’s a secret to it, but we’re more than happy to share it with you!
