Photos of individual plants are important for species identification and are included in our Grow Native! Native Plant Database and other grownative.org resources. However, to understand how plants look in landscaped settings, garden photos are also helpful. 

 

A new Grow Native! resource of Labeled Native Garden Photos has been added to the Grow Native! website, under Learn > Natives for Gardening > Beautify Your Surroundings. If you have a garden setting photo with clearly identifiable natives, you can contribute to this project by sending them to lilly@moprairie.org.
